Whirlwind May
Wow... It's May..and the crazier part is that it's already the end of May. I have no idea where the past month has gone, but let's just say that it's been such a busy and hectic month. I thought the biggest accomplishments were booking our vacations for the next 7 months, however, something bigger has happened. Okay, first things first.We will be traveling to various places in the next couple of months!
1) Singapore in July/August
2) Melbourne in September
3) Gold Coast in October
4) Gold Coast in November
5) New York in November for Thanksgiving
6) Gold Coast in December.
I can't wait! So after staying close to Sydney for the past 5 months, we'll be frequent flyers!
Okay, so the bigger news that has erupted in the past couple of days. Jackson has left his job in private equity and has moved into regulatory financial consulting with his Dad and brother. What does that mean? i haven't the faintest, but it certainly will change things quite a bit. His last day of PE was yesterday (Friday) and he flies out to Hong Kong tomorrow for 10 days. So Kiml will be left behind. I figure this will be a regular occurrence, but we'll start with small steps first. The office he will be working out of will be in Singapore, but maybe they'll open a Sydney office...
p.s. we have a Pirates marathon tonight with our friends - but...I heard that Pirates 3 was...meh. I'll keep you posted.
